I did a commercial photo shoot at Indigo Studios in Atlanta last week for cleaning products. It was interesting because they had me "pretend" I was a housewife, a store employee, bus driver, etc. I was dressed in different outfits but I was standing in front of a white wall posing as if I was cleaning a house or a store or wherever my "character" was. They would take pictures of me and place them in the computer where there would be a picture of a store or a living room or wherever I was working. It was pretty cool watching the photographer and the tech people working together to create these realistic pictures out of me just standing there holding a cleaning container in front of a white wall. Pretty fascinating actually. I know it's not a new concept, but I just thought it was cool seeing how it's done. The funny thing is that on the first day of the shoot, the hair and makeup artist had done my makeup. For me sitting in the makeup chair is one of the best parts of my work, whether it's acting or modeling. It's always nice to feel pampered! But when I told them I was ready for the shoot, they told me to put on a mask and goggles because that's what they wanted me to wear in the pictures while I am using the cleaning products. LOL I had a great time working with HMUA Jenna Atkins, wardrobe/stylist Angela Mullen, photographer Leo Marshall and the crew at Indigo Studios.
