Yesterday I finally had new headshots done. The ones I've been using were done back in 2017, but I've been really lucky that they have lasted me this long! But it was time to update so I went to Toni Riales a photographer I've worked with several times. I first worked with her on a commercial shoot for Wind Creek Casino, and then I decided to get my headshots with her. My daughter who was also interested in acting at the time got headshots too. And then later both of my girls got senior pictures with her. I love working with Toni! She's a lot of fun and she made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. I remember how nervous and self-conscious I was when I first worked with her. It was pretty awkward, and I felt myself fake-smiling the whole time and feeling really stiff. But yesterday I arrived late for my session - which is not normal for me. After all the paperwork was finished I had my wardrobe choices laid our for her - she said "how about this . . . this . . . that . . ." and in about 35-40 minutes later I was able to get 9 looks done! This time I felt so much more comfortable and more confident in front of the camera, and much less self-conscious. I was in such a hurry to get in as many looks as possible that I didn't even bother to change in the restroom. I just changed my shirts right there in front of Toni and my MUA Lisa . . . no big deal LOL The session was fun, but I'm always nervous to see how my pictures or anything I'm in turns out. So stay tuned. If I like them, I'll share them here. But if I don't, well . . .
